Art + Design
Director

I’m Mike Steven François, an art & design director shaping visual systems through narrative and structure. My work spans editorial, brand, and digital, built with clarity, rhythm, and intent.

How I Think

I approach design through idea, structure, and system — shaping work that feels clear, cohesive, and intentional.
01. Narrative
The strongest visual direction starts with a clear idea.
Every project starts with a clear idea. I use narrative to shape the visual direction, so the work communicates with purpose and carries a distinct point of view. Whether the outcome is editorial, brand, or digital, the aim is to create work that feels considered, engaging, and intentional.
02. Structure
Hierarchy, pacing, and space shape how the work is seen and understood.
Structure gives the work clarity. Through hierarchy, pacing, scale, and space, I shape how something is seen, read, and understood. It’s how I guide attention, create rhythm, and make the overall experience feel precise and resolved.
03. Systems
I build visual languages that hold together across formats and touchpoints.
I think beyond individual outputs. I build visual systems that create consistency across touchpoints while staying flexible enough to adapt. The goal is a cohesive visual language that holds its character across formats.
